Melting Sweetpotatoes

- 2 lbs sweetpotatoes
- ¼ cup butter melted
- Salt to taste
- Maple Pecan Sauce
- ⅓ cup maple syrup
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- ½ tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425F. Cut sweetpotatoes into 1-inch-thick slices.
- Add the sweetpotatoes to a large bowl, along with the melted butter and salt. Toss to coat.
- Place the sweetpotatoes on a large baking sheet. Roast for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- When the potatoes are almost done roasting, combine the maple syrup, pecans, and cinnamon in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil then immediately remove from the heat. Transfer the sweetpotatoes to a serving platter and drizzle with the sauce.
