Preheat oven to 425F. Cut sweetpotatoes into 1-inch-thick slices.
Add the sweetpotatoes to a large bowl, along with the melted butter and salt. Toss to coat.
Place the sweetpotatoes on a large baking sheet. Roast for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
When the potatoes are almost done roasting, combine the maple syrup, pecans, and cinnamon in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil then immediately remove from the heat. Transfer the sweetpotatoes to a serving platter and drizzle with the sauce.
