
Sweetpotato Cookies
Sweetpotato Cookies are wholesome homemade dog treats made with mashed sweetpotatoes, whole wheat flour, and eggs. Ingredients
- 2½ cups Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 cup Mashed Sweetpotatoes
- 2 Eggs
- Crushed Treats (Your dog’s favorite)
Instructions
- Rinse off 3 large sweetpotatoes and cut the skin off. Dice them into cubes. Add to boiling water for about 20 minutes to soften. Drain and mash.
- Add the whole wheat flour, baking soda, mashed sweetpotatoes, and eggs to a bowl. Combine The dough will be very thick. Take it out of the bowl and knead with your hands.
- Sprinkle in your dog’s favorite treats.
- Flatten to about a half inch. Use the cookie cutter to cut out dog bone cookies. Place them on parchment paper on a baking tray.
- Knead the leftover dough together, flatten, cut, and repeat until you are out of dough.
- Bake at 350 F for 20 minutes.
- Let cool and enjoy!
