Sweetpotato Casserole

Ingredients
- 4 large sweetpotatoes Cook until soft.
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup unsalted melted butter
- ¼ cup cinnamon
- 1 Tbs nutmeg
Topping
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- ½ cup melted butter
Instructions
Preparation
- Combine sweet potatoes, granulated sugar, salt, vanilla extract, eggs, unsalted melted butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl until smooth.
- Pour into 2 quart baking pan.
Topping
- Combine brown sugar with flour, chopped pecans, and melted butter and stir together.
Baking
- Preheat oven to 375° Fahrenheit.
- Bake sweetpotato at 375° Fahrenheit for 25-30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and put on topping and bake for 10-15 minutes more.
