Sweets On The Street!
For the next two months, we’ll be partnering with two of NYC’s most popular food trucks to feed hungry New Yorkers sweetpotatoes in each of the trucks’ true fashion.
Kimchi Taco Truck, famous for their marriage of Korean BBQ and street food, will be serving Sweetpotato Kimchi Fries – a mound of crispy sweetpotato fries dressed with melted cheddar, fresh kimchi, black beans, scallions, miso crema and queso blanco. YOWZA!
Mike n’ Willie’s, known for their pulled pork and brisket sliders, will be serving up a Sweetpotato Mushroom Taco using sweetpotato puree and portobello mushrooms garnished with tangy mango salsa and Sriracha sour cream for a spicy kick.
Both trucks plan on running the special items through June. AND for those of you living in NYC, when you stop by either truck to indulge in sweetpotatoes their way, be sure to take a picture of the special and tweet it at us at @Sweet_Taters using #SweetsOnTheStreet. We’ll be choosing entries at random to receive a $100 gift card to Trader Joe’s!
