2012 Blogger Recipe Contest!
It’s that time again…get your ovens ready and prepare to turn orange, the 2012 blogger recipe contest officially starts tomorrow! You will have a whole month to come up with an original sweetpotato recipe and this year we are focusing on originality.
O-RIG-I-NAL-I-TY noun 1. The quality of being novel or unusual.
This year’s theme, No More ‘Mallows, and our little picketer, should say it all. Sweetpotatoes are tired of hiding under that thick layer of marshmallow fluff – we want you to discover the sweetpotato and unleash it’s wonderful qualities! Here are the rules:
GET COOKIN’ Create an original recipe using sweetpotatoes as the main ingredient. The recipe must be your own creation and you better make that sweetpotato shine!
SHARE YOUR RECIPE Post your recipe and our No More ‘Mallows picketer on your blog between March 1st and March 31st. Don’t forget to include a mouthwatering picture if you can!
SUBMIT YOUR RECIPE Email us at [email protected] with a link to your recipe with your name, blog name, email, home address and a brief note about how you heard about the contest. Once you’ve submitted your entry, look out for your recipe photo on our Facebook page!
WIN BIG Recipes will be tested and tasted in our professional test kitchen to determine the final winners. Recipes will be judged on taste, originality, importance of sweetpotatoes and ease of preparation. The winning recipes gets $2,000 and 3 runners-up get $500 each! Not too shabby eh?
