- 1¼ Cup sweetpotato puree (cooked and mashed)
- ¾ Cup water
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp Cayenne pepper
- 3 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp gelatin (*agar may be used as a vegan option)
Mix the sugar and gelatin in a bowl and add all remaining ingredients to a saucepan.
Boil the mixture on a medium heat and keep stirring until it’s boiling. Once it’s reached boiling point, add the gelatin and sugar.
Boil for a further minute then pour the ketchup mix into a bowl and cover it with plastic wrap.
Keep in the fridge until set and then blend at high speed until the mixture is smooth.
Once blended, it is ready to serve.
