- 1.5 oz Bulleit Rye Whiskey
- 1 oz sweetpotato & smoked paprika simple syrup
- 0.5 oz lemon juice
- 7 drops Orange Fig Bitters from Crude Bitters of Raleigh NC
- 1 mint leaf
Sweetpotato & Smoked Paprika Simple Syrup
- 2 cups roasted and mashed sweetpotatoes
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1.5 cups water
- 1 tbs smoked paprika
Sweetpotato & Smoked Paprika Simple Syrup
Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
Strain through a fine mesh strainer and let cool.
Keep in refrigerator for up to three weeks.
